To those many wonderfully imaginative people who create signatures, better known as "siggies," using Paintshop Pro (or Photoshop, Fireworks, or any of the leading computer graphics software)...

Welcome!

There are many of you around the world to whom I have granted limited permission to use elements of my artwork for the creation of siggies. In general, the rules for obtaining permission are these:

1. Your signature site must be easily available for me to access without my joining as a member. That is, I must be able to look over your site using a general user ID and password, or your site must have open public access. Send me the link to your site, along with a user ID and password if required, using the "click here" email link in the Permission Request section below.

2. You must give artists adequate credit for their creations, remembering that the hours you spend working on a siggie are backed up by as many -- or many more -- hours of work on the artist's part. As a general rule, and effective March 31, 2005, I request that my name and a link back to the url http://www.alliej.com be placed at either or both of A) the easily accessible location where you place all artist credits, and/or B) directly with the siggie. Also, I require that you place the following statement conspicuously within the siggie: "Art Copyright Allie Jensen." No work that includes my art work may be sold or otherwise traded for any form of consideration. You agree that I may display image(s) from your site that include my work on page(s) within my site. If my work is used and any of these provisions are not met I will request that you remove my work from your site.

3. Once I review your site and determine that your use of artists' work is respectful and gives adequate credit, complying with artists' copyright restrictions, I may at my sole discretion grant limited permission for you to use elements of my art work. Then by using my work, you agree to abide by these provisions and further agree that I may at any time at my sole discretion revoke my permission with no liability for inconvenience or other monetary, personal or business damages.

I am delighted at the large number of gifted PSP folks who have requested permission to use my images! (At last count, 69 PSP sites.) Thanks in part to you, my web site enjoys a good ranking in the search engines, and receives thousands of international visitors. I am honored by the compliment, and wish to return it by listing your site below. Soon after the permission process is concluded, I will instruct my webmaster to add your link to the list.

Most of the sites below are members-only sites that will require you to request membership, but some are open to the public. There are a number that contain adult content. Also, please note that these sites do come and go, so these links may not always go anywhere. Even though I'm of the old school, creating my work with watercolor board, pencil and paint, I hope you'll enjoy browsing this interesting new world of Paintshop graphics.
